Executive MBA /// 2009/2010

Conditions of entry

¶ Minimum 5 years professional experience;
¶ Degree from an officially recognised school of higher education;
¶ Command of the Portuguese and English languages.

Despite the GMAT results – Graduate Management Admission Test – not being obligatory, this is considered a preferential condition for admission to the Executive MBA.

Applications

Applications may be made to the Secretary of EGP-UPBS, Pólo dos Salazares between 1st March and 30th June each year. The application process must include the following documentation:

¶ Application Form ;
¶ Official corroboratory documentation of academic skills and respective classification;
¶ Curriculum Vitae;
¶ Two referee letters (use the forms included in the Application Form);
¶ Certificate of appropriate English language skills, issued by the British Institute, American Language Institute, or other institute deemed to be credible by the competent EGP-UPBS body.

Following evaluation of the items supplied, the candidates deemed potentially eligible for admission will be invited to an interview conducted by the Executive MBA selection panel.

Selection criteria

Candidates will be assessed by a selection panel based on the following criteria:

¶ Curriculum Vitae and professional experience;
¶ Personality and motivation;
¶ Classifications and academic skills.

The candidates selected by the panel will be accepted on the homogenisation programme, to be held from August. Candidates’ acceptance as students on the Executive MBA programmes is subject to the successful conclusion of the homogenisation module.

Fee

The overall fee of the Executive MBA is 16,000 Euros, payment of which is spread across the following phases:

¶ Application: 500 Euros;
¶ Module 0: 3,500 Euros
¶ Term 1: 4,000 Euros
¶ Term 2: 4,000 Euros
¶ Term 3: 4,000 Euros
