In-Company Education

EGP-UPBS develops and implements programmes aimed at businesses’ specific needs. Such is carried out bearing in mind the organisations’ strategic, tactical and operational objectives, and their workers’ consequent development needs at the different levels of management drawing on their knowledge and skills.

This approach, which is more and more present, allows a more comprehensive section of the organisation to acquire the benefits of the programmes, as well as achieving the intended objectives more quickly, given the possibility of customising the programmes to real needs.

EGP-UPBS is able to mobilise its MBA and Executive Programme faculty for these programmes, a resource linked to the University, the business sector and our overseas business school partners. We can therefore resort to a vast set of experiences and skills in various management fields: Strategy and Innovation, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour. Logistically, we will be able to run longer or shorter length programmes at our facilities or at others to be designated with our own or the client’s logistic support.

Other than programmes directly developed for businesses, we have experience in carrying out Consortium activities with other Business Schools aimed at groups of businesses, examples of which are “Leadership Alliance” with the London Business School (England) and “PAEX – Partners for Excellence” with the Dom Cabral Foundation (Brazil). These programmes typically unite a high level of advanced training and work applied to the companies’ specific questions.

EGP-UPBS has lengthy experience in in-company education having exceeded a volume equivalent to 787 weeks (almost 31,500 hours) of personalised training for client organisations in the last year.
